The IDPP invited all interested individuals to participate in the final presentations conducted by students by joining a virtual and accessible Blackboard Collaborate webconferencing room.

This interdisciplinary practicum course explored the rapidly-expanding practice of geographically distributed collaboration in international and regional organizations through virtual communities and teams. Throughout the course, practicum participants learned how to build and evaluate global virtual teams and cross-cultural collaboration strategies to help two leading international organizations accomplish their global strategic goals: The World Bank’s Global Forum on Law, Justice, and Development, and AGENDA: the General Election Network for Disability Access based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

A combination of theory and practice, geographically-distributed students in the practicum course worked with these two organizations throughout the Spring 2013 semester, and offered their final presentations on work conducted.
