Tannin Kraivixien

H.E. Mr. Tannin Kraivixien is President of The Foundation of the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. He was appointed as a Privy Councillor on 15 December, 1977 and pledged allegiance during an audience with His Majesty the King on 17 December, 1977. He currently serves as the Vice-President of the SUPPORT Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand. He is the President of the Foundation for the Crown Prince Hospitals and of the Board of Special Advisors of the SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (Public Organization). He is the Special Adviser to the President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute. He is a Member of the Executive Committee of the Anandamahidol Foundation, the Thai Red Cross Council and the Executive Committee of Siriraj Foundation. From 1976-1977, H.E. Mr. Tannin Kraivixien was the Prime Minister of Thailand. In the past, he served as a Senior Judge in the Supreme Court, a Member of the Judicial Service Commission, a Law Councillor and Chairman of the Revision of the Code of Civil Procedure. He was a Barrister of Gray’s Inn. He is the recipient of the Knight Grand Cross (First Class) of the Most Illustrious Order of Chula Chom Klao (1994), the Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant (1978), Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand (1977), and The Royal Cypher Medal (Second Class) (1979). He earned his Bachelor of Laws at Thammasat University and his LL.B at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
