IDPP Faculty Co-Lead Global Virtual Teams Workshop at HICSS-47

HICSS Global Virtual Teams Workshop (photo)IDPP/COTELCO hosted participants from around the world to virtually join Dr. Derrick Cogburn and colleagues for the workshop “Cross Cultural Communication in Accessible Global Virtual Teams” from 9:00am-4:00pm US Hawai’i time (2:00pm-9:00pm US EST) on 6 January, the first day of the 47th Annual Hawai’i International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-47) held from 6-9 January 2014. COTELCO provided accessible virtual participation, including closed captions, to the public.

Dr. Cogburn co-led the workshop with Dr. Michael Hine, Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University, and Mr. Frederick Zarndt, Founder of Global Connexions. The workshop featured presentations from COTELCO/IDPP Senior Faculty Associate Dr. Nanette Levinson; Faculty Associates and Co-Chairs of the IDPP Evaluation Committee Dr. Jennifer Ellis and Dr. Marilyn Arnone; and American University Psychology Professor Dr. Noemi Enchautegui-de-Jesus.
