The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights, and well-being. The day, officially 3 December, seeks to increase awareness of the benefits of the integration of people with disabilities by encompassing every part of political, social, economical, and cultural life.
This year’s theme is “Together for a better world for all: Including persons with disabilities in development.”
The session is free and will be held entirely virtually to provide speakers and participants from around the world the opportunity to participate. This event has already occured, click here for updated story.
